I just received 38 Emails, of bloggers who are opposed to the confirmation of Alberto Gonzales, as Attorney General. I am opposed to the confirmation of Alberto Gonzales also.

the democrats aren't going to filibuster him, but many are going to vote against him. Still, its little more than a protest vote at this point. Might as well get used to hearing that phrase for the next little bit...
Yeah, I too received that avalanche of emails from that list-serve. It's kind of annoying (particularly when you're gone for 20 minutes and come back to find 20 new emails!) but it seems they're trying to fix that.
I am disappointed that a fillibuster isn't being attempted. We need to keep blogging, and organizing, untill we can put some backbone in our Democratic Senators.
I have had trouble posting comments on other sites.
well, right now the major battle is to keep the filibuster even alive. I think they might be a bit apprehensive of overusing it until that situation gets resolved.
