Safety Inspection

Today I had a Safety Inspection performed on my Car. The cost was $17. I had to have this done because I'm renewing the Registration on my Car tomorrow.

Primary Elections

Yesterday was the Primary Elections in Washington County, Utah. The results: a 150 Million Dollar (School Bond) passed. This measure allows for more School Buildings to be built. However, a tax that was supposed to increase Teachers Salaries failed. The other item on the Ballot was a Republican Primary for County Commisioner (Seat B). It appears that Denny Drake won that Race by 190 Votes. I didn't vote in that race, since I'm not Republican. The Absentee Ballots still haven't been counted.

Hot

By the way, it's 110 degrees in St. George, Utah, today!

Cut and Run

The Republican Noise Machine keeps mentioning the phrase "Cutting and Running". Essentially they are calling anyone who disagrees with their Foreign Policy Objectives (Cowards)! How sad that the Republican Propaganda Machine can't think of anything better than School-Yard Taunts, in order to support their Misguided Policies!

Conservatives

Conservatives are interesting People. They say that they are good Christians, but then they turn around and say that America should drop Nuclear Bombs on any Country that we have a squabble with. Somehow that doesn't seem very Christian to me.

Soldiers

I have been asked to participate in a special program that honors the returning Soldiers on June 30th at the Dixie Center in St. George, Utah. It's going to be a big event that will be sponsored by both Democrats and Republicans.

Button Making Machine

I'm planning on buying a Button Making Machine for my Campaign. I haven't decided which Machine to purchase, but I would like to make at least 250 Buttons. Also it would be good to have a Button Making Machine on hand for all the Politicking that I do!

Political Buttons

What I need next for my Campaign, is some Political Buttons. I am trying to decide whether it would be better to buy the buttons already made, or to buy a button machine and make my own?

Establishment

It looks like the Political Establishment is frightened of me. I got word through the Grapevine, that powerful Political Factions want me to take down my Political Yard Signs. Their reasoning is that since I'm not running in the Primary on June 27th, (I skip straight through to the General Election in November) that I'm confusing the voters. Isn't that amazing? Well, I'm leaving my Signs up, and I'm also having 50 Bumper Stickers made up as well!

Yesterday, the U.S. Senate Candidate: Pete Ashdown, spoke at my Toastmasters Club. It sure is an honor to have such a good Candidate challenging Orrin Hatch, for the U.S. Senate!

Air Conditioning

I spoke too soon about Air Conditioning! The Air Conditioning went out in my Truck yesterday. My supervisor at work, thinks I probably just need some freon.

My mother took my daughter back home to Richfield, Utah. I am already missing Samantha!

Hot Weather

The weather sure has been Hot lately. In St. George, having an Air Conditioner for your car is not optional. My daughter Samantha is enjoying her visit. I even had my daughter help me put up some Yard Signs so she can learn about Politicking!

Political Campaign

My Political Campaign sure has created a wave of support. Everyone I talk to is deeply interested in my Campaign for County Commissioner, and say they plan on voting for me!

I am having a great visit with my daughter! I'm going to take her to the Chess Center tonight, so she can see how I spend my Tuesday and Friday Nights.
