I won a White Ribbon in my Toastmasters Club last night for my impromptu speaking abilities. That portion of our meeting is called Table Topics. It is challenging, because you are given a topic to speak on without any notice, and expected to speak on it for 1-2 minutes.
In Southern Utah we are expecting severe flooding. Especially in Zion National Park, which is where I happen to be working.

I usually get tongue-tied when I'm doing impromptu speaking, but the question they asked me this time (About the rioting caused by the alleged desecration of the Koran) was easy for me to comment on. The best part was that I had Conservative Members of my Club voting for me, even though some of my remarks were somewhat Liberal.
Didn't know you had this talent :-) (Jordon from Xanterra)
